The following explain what data we collect when you use this site.

NoNonsenseCooking was created because many recipe sites are overloaded with trackers and ads. We minimize data collection without hindering the site. We do not collect information that identifies you as a person—only statistical data that makes some features possible (for example “most popular recipes”).

Hosting

This website is served as static files from infrastructure we control (a VPS). No third-party page host processes your requests beyond what is needed to deliver these files.

Plausible Analytics

On this site, we use a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics. Plausible is a web analytics tool; unlike many analytics products, it is not used to track you across the internet. We only collect usage data on this site and cannot identify you as a person from it. Usage data is stored on a server in Germany.

When you visit, we may collect: the URL you visit, the referrer header, your browser, your operating system, your device type (desktop/phone/tablet), and the country you visit from. Read more in Plausible’s data policy.
